1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

In addition to the differences previously mentioned, the LaSalle has a foam-padded insole whereas the Delray has a traditional leather "dress" insole. Delray for the win, IMO.

However, the LaSalles are a great value at $127.

From the profile, it looks like black Dainite -- which would be consistent with the soles on all the 2.0s in brown grain.

Okay, I finally pulled the trigger on the brown pebble grain Dundees. This is my third pair of Allen Edmonds shoes this year. I'm sure you guys can be trusted to talk me out of any further purchases, right?

Funny! This thread doesn't look like a Shoe Addicts Anonymous meeting to me.

And you know you want to pick up those $127 LaSalles, right? [evil face]

Good ship Brown Shell Cordovan came in yesterday.

I received some bad news in September of an issue that came up during the recrafting of my brown shell cordovan Patriots. Allen Edmonds customer service reached out to let me know that they were going to send me a breand new pair of shoes!

Excellent customer service. I'm very pleased. The shoes also came in great condition. I'm really happy with the outcome:

My first post on this site is to say I joined the Allen Edmonds shoe family.

Bought a pair of Walnut Strands today along with the belt that goes with it. Great looking combo.

Well after tonight I'm now at five (grabbed some Rush St. CXL firsts when they popped up in my size at clearance prices...). So I don't have lots of hope for you...

I'm officially done now for a long time. Unless a pair of Ravello Alden NST's pops up, I'm set for a long time...

    (I hope)

Should I buy these from shoebank for $127?
These are the ones with tap sole.

And what kind of smart casual outfit could I wear with these?
Maybe jeans and checkered button down shirt w/ burgundy belt?

14th street Nordstrom Rack had a ton of suede. I was looking at those exact shoes as well as a Williams longwing and some Navy Gobis.

That's actually one of the few pictures I've seen of bourbon anything that makes me appreciate the color. I've seen a number of bourbon models in the store and still didn't like the color.

I was looking at some old AE catalogues today. Does anyone know when the PA changed from being a blucher to a balmoral and why?

It was also fascinating to see how far back the FA went, especially after the conversations a few days ago about its versatility.

There are pairs of suede Mojaves (not quite snuff, but a darker brown) at a few of the NYC Burlington stores for $99.00 folks...I've seen 12 and 13Ds at the Bronx Terminal Market Store and 12D at the Chelsea store.

    Go git 'em boys...

Nope. F*ck...I've bought thirteen pairs this year—at deep discount, but Goddamn...it's addictive.

Join me in my “suffering”. I'm proud to be an enabler. :)
