    Style # 8498 - 37555.

I think that's Bob's chili, not sure though.

It depends on the look you're going for. If you use chili exclusively, the shoes will lighten (slightly) over time. Mix the chili in with other shades you may have on hand and you'll get more of a patina.

An unfamiliar model popped up on Shoe Bank in my size. Anyone familiar in the Bloor Street?

Has anybody seen the brown pebbled grain MacNeils in the wild yet? They caught my eye on the website, but they didn't have them the last time I visited an Allen Edmonds store.

The original MacNeils, or the 2.0? I have a pair of the pebbled originals. I like them.

No worries. I've had them for several years. I think they look good and they have held up really well.

EDIT: for some weird reason your post isn't coming through on the quote. Sorry about that.

The MacNeil was available directly through AE in Walnut grain up until two years ago. And in chili grain through Brooks Brothers.

On the AE website, during business hours, they have a live chat. They are very good about taking style numbers and giving you info on the shoe. I do this a lot with eBay finds, sometimes the seller will have the wrong style or color listed, but the style code doesn't lie.

Maxy, and anyone else for that matter, what kind of reaction do you get to your Moras?

AE belt appreciation. Bourbon Manistee to go with bourbon Daltons. The belt comes across as high end to my eyes, and isn't going to flake or require maintenance like the Wide Basic.

Wearing Addisons today. Casual, comfy and cool in the Texas heat (though it's not bad today).

Never done anything other than wear the crap out of these. Have heavy wrinkles on 1 shoe, non really on the other. Go figure.

And speaking of wearing the crap out of my Addy's... any suggestions on cleaning this type of leather? Couldn't find anything in the outdated AE shoe care pdf. Previously, @garland mentioned it was the Acorn Hillfire leather (same as Strugis boot). Thanks!
