1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Bought them from @rydenfan .

They're awesome - unlined and super comfortable. Hit them with the Mac Method and then some Bick 4 to nourish a few dry patches and they're glowing like mad already.

I've been mulling over selling mine as well but I just can't seem to get myself to do it. They don't get much wear and they're one of the few AE's I have left.

Edit: But they don't look anywhere as pristine as yours do, @rydenfan . All your boots look pretty much pristine! [IMG]

We're they always that dark? I had some actual walnut Daltons that were almost natural color. Which I think they had two batches when they were running that color.

Those were, once upon a time, mine. They have a couple of stitching flaws, but gorgeous. I sent them back, though, because I just didn't love them enough to keep with the flaws. At a lower seconds price they'd be great.

Thanks all. They don't look quite as dark in person - I took these pictures on a dreary/grey/overcast day. Natural shell is much lighter than this Walnut shell.

Anyone have experience with the Quinton suede, in brogue or bit chocolate? Is the titan sole super rigid?

I am looking to purchase two pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes in the future. Black and Brown/Walnut are the colours I am looking for. They will primarily be worn for formal occasions (Work, Formal Events etc).

I will be purchasing the Park Avenues in Black and possibly the same for Brown.

However, I do like the look of the AE Warwick in Brown.

My question is whether the AE Warwick Monk Straps are appropriate for an office? Or should I stick to the Park Avenues, possibly Fifth Avenue?

    Thanks

I think it looks kind of awkward, but that's just me. FWIW I have a pair and think they look odd with shorts. I'm going to sell them because that's what I bought them for. They may work, but on me they just seemed out of place. I also got mine first quality for $100 due to a pricing glitch (thanks Amazon)

Don't know about warwicks yet but the Mora 2.0 are absolutely appropriate for CBD.

Carlyle - comes in oxblood (cherry based color), and is dead sexy in person. The online pics really do not capture how great this shoe is.

A single monk is more appropriate for the office/suit than a double monk IMO. Pretty classic style. Single monks are underrated and are awesome :)
