1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Those were last year's April sale prices. The Strand was not included in the sale then.

Different models (mostly) will be on sale this year for $279, including the McAllister, Lexington, and University. The Strand will not be included in this year's April sale either.

Tried on the Larchmont in the same size (length and width) as I take in the 65 and it fit pretty well; never tried a monk strap on the 333 though. They are kind of like this in order of length - 108, 65, 333. If the 65 is too long for you I would pass, but if not give them a try. They definitely have a much more sleek look than the 65 styles.

Thanks for the info. I'm considering on getting a pair of either Moras or Franciscans. Might end up getting both if the ShoeBank will have a 2 for $250 sale, just like they did late March last year.

2 for 250 was only on closeouts, and I doubt mora and franciscan will be closed out. Even so, 2 for 250 will likely not return, as the last clearance special they did was 2 for 300.

I'm very interested in the new Rogue (201 last) since I can't seem to get a good fit on the 5 last

Can someone compare the fit of the new 201 last to the 5 last?

What size do you take in the 5 last and what size do you wear in the new 201 last?

What difference did you notice between the the lasts?

    Thanks

Forgive my ignorance since I'm new here. But do you know for sure it's 279 this year vs. 259 like last year? Just curious how you know this info.

    thanks!

I took the same size in both; the Rogue felt a little more roomy in the instep and forefoot area.

No one knows for sure. He was guessing based on recent across the board price increases.

Thanks for the deets on the sand color. I've never heard of Leeds in sand so was just curious.

Going with the shell townleys today. Hadn't worn these in so long I had to brush off some bloom this am.

Assuming it's the same Sand Suede used on the Player's shoe, it goes anywhere from white to off-yellow depending on the lighting and white-balance of the photograph... I don't recall how they look in person, it's been a while...

(EDIT: it's been a few years since the release of the Player's shoe, so the color could have changed. @watchidiot 's shoes look more like stone suede than the Players!?)

They look like Amok chukka boots, which look really good in those pics... might have to keep an eye out for those on shoebank
