Can some one post at picture of the 15% additional off coupon, even if you already used the code? I want to see if I can use it for price match at least.

So my crappy but comfy Clark beater shoes finally bit the dust. Well, the soles started peeling off.

Thinking about uograding to AE for a pair of everyday walking/comfort shoes to tool around the neighborhood/subway/playground in. The Voyager looks to be a good deal right now, but it's quite Fugly. Though for this shoe that would be way less important than comfort. Does anyone have experience with it? How does it compare to the Wilbert? Is the latter significantly better?

Thanks gents.

Can someone post a picture of the chili, brown, and bourbon mora in the wild? I'd like to see what they 'really' look like.

Thanks!

They also have some chili burnished mora's if anyone has a picture of those in the wild as well. The color might even be better than the bourbon!

I have a pair of AE Wilberts. They're ok, but not as flexible as I'd like a casual shoe to be. I've had them for about a year and they're holding up well.

Gents:

University Wingtips vs. McAllisters

Thoughts?

I have a high instep and wide feet. I'm a good 7.5EE-7.5EEE on the 65 last, not sure about the 333.

Can you please elaborate? What don't you like about the 333?

Seems like the 4 would work best for me with a higher instep but 65 is their most popular last.

I'll add to the temptation. The walnut McAllister is most likely my favorite calf shoe. With walnut shell Dalton's and walnut shell Strand.

Even though I have the Cambridge in #8 shell I often consider getting the McAllister in Merlot. It is that great of a shoe IMO.

I haven't seen Strand with burnished toe before. Did you burnish it yourself? I was thinking about burnishing toes of my walnut strands with tragacanth because I have a deep dark scuff on one of them. I'm hesitant to try it though as I have no idea what the result will look like.

I would bet that it's not burnishing, as that shoe is cordovan. Seems a likely combination of darker variation in the shell color and Cold Iron's shadow.

Quick bump to see if anyone knows the answer....

Similar feeling, but nubuck is the opposite side of the hide. Suede inner, nubuck outer.
