1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Black Hills were the first pair of AE's I bought. Of the three I tried on that day, it was the most comfortable. I'll think you'll like them. Would have to see the gray in person though. Seems like an odd color. Might blend in well with street slush.

So, a few weeks ago I came across this pair of 10 EEE Walnut Cordovan Strands at my local AE store and couldn't help but to buy them, even knowing that I'm a 9.5 EEE and they're a 1/2 size too large. After spending some time trying to convince myself that they fit just fine and that my feet aren't swimming in them, I've had to face reality: they're a tad too large for my feet. And now they're for sale. Please PM me if interested. Brand new. First quality. Unworn, except on carpeted floors. Thanks.

Yea I know...if they only came in my sorta crazy-ass 8C size, they'd already be on their way to me!

Since walnut shell is no longer available for the foreseeable future, he is giving first stab to any folks form this thread who might be interested in the pair. I know I would if I was a 10EEE.

There is a rumor that the closed outs will have a door buster deal sometimes on Friday. My SA couldn't tell me more than that

What do you guys think about the sand suede getting dirty? I like the Gobi better in sand but I'm also not very familiar with suede. Do I have to be afraid when wearing or should I just get the snuff?

Holy cow, you should have gone to the store and bought a lottery ticket. That is a great purchase. Crazy bummer that they can't work for you as they are the best shoe AE has made to date. Period.

No real experience with AE suede, but I actually just left the Costa Mesa store and picked up a pair of the Gobis in Snuff. I was originally all Stone until @Kahuna75 posted his pair in Snuff about a week ago. Be sure to try a width down from your 5 last.

AE is being very quiet about it this year, unlike last year when it was known weeks before
