    I'm sure sure how dressy the dainite sole would be, but the combo tap sole would certainly fit the bill. I'm considering a chocolate calf w/ combo tap sole right now... $197 is an incredible price.

    All belts were on sale last Black Friday...think I got some for like $40 or something.

    I love those manistee belts. My walnut belt is my favorite.

    I'm wearing a burgundy manistee belt today. They are indeed very nice. I also have the regular AE belts in brown and black but the manistee is much better IMO.

    I thought Dainite would be just as dressy as leather with the exception that the edges are black. Isn't that the whole point: a durable weatherproof sole that like looks like a black leather sole?

    I'm pretty sure I'm set on bourbon. Just wondering about all of the other myriad options (upper Stitching,welt color/type, edge Dressing, wheeled edge, etc). Trying to create a boot that can be worn with a tie and blazer as well as casually.

    The belt seconds is something I haven't heard about but need to add a few belts to my collection. I'd be interested in more info on discounted belts.

    Yes they were "seconds" though I can't see anything wrong with them.

    Instead of dreaming on, friend, I contacted Allison about ordering a custom MTO (disclaimer- I've already had one MTO made for me, so maybe this influenced things):

    My email to her sent at 4:17 pm:
    Hi Allison,

    First off, happy Thanksgiving! I'm interested in a pair of the Eagle County (I'm sure you've received several requests today) StyleForum MTO with chocolate calf, either a combo tap sole or dainite sole, and flat welt. Would this qualify for the $197 sale price?
