Anybody want a 9.5D amok suede chukka NIB? I've got dark brown and tan. They're discontinued but I've got one pair each as they were just a tad too small. Let me know before I return them.

Does anyone have a picture of all the AE shell cordovan colours next to one another?

About to buy a pair of Daltons in burgundy, but don't want to regret not having seen them in walnut or other colours first...

Appreciate if someone can explain the number on the side of the shoes. Does AE keep a serial number on the shoes?

If you go back over this thread, Cold Iron has a few fantastic photos of his shell collection, several of which display five distinct shades of the same shoe. It's invaluable.

Sadly, it's also moot. Allen Edmonds now only has burgundy, brown, and black shell cordovan... and it will be that way for the foreseeable future.

Officially placed my shell neumok order... and am promptly about to place an order, if possible, for the Banchory in #8 and shiny brass eyelets. Basically, I'm taking advantage of the cheap custom shells to get my dream shoes that I figured would never be readily accessible. I'm operating under the (possibly false) assumption that one day they will stop with the waived MTO fee and/or not honor sales prices anymore.

I thought I hit a home run by landing shell PAs for $299 without realizing that I cleared the park, as it's clear from this picture that I got the "old burgundy" (which looks much nicer to my eyes). When did they change?

Besides, you can always ask to put you on the waiting list for the shell Strands at $299.

According to the swatches I got from AE, cappuccino looks a lot darker than brown. Your picture suggests that this is actually not the case. I wonder if this is because cappuccino lightens up more easily?
