    rydenfan,

Any informaton on how you went about the MTO? Did you have to do a batch of orders or an individual? What did you order?

    Thanks!

Contact Allison at 262-235-6128 and tell her you would like to place a MTO through the Styleforum agreement.

Completely individual. You basically pay whatever the standard MSRP of the shoe is without any additional charge. It is a pretty incredible service they are offering. And it is clearly effective, at least on me, since I am now on my 4th one

My Dundees were right around 4 weeks. I placed an order for a Leeds in the same make-up at the same time, but they are taking a bit longer. Maybe another 2 weeks Allison said.

The retail price of the shoe, $595. The SF 'deal' gets AE's MTO fee waived which would be $125.

    Hi all,

Thank you very much for the thread...been thinking about this for a long time and finally took the plunge, got the River City shoes a few days ago. Thrilled with the quality.

I want to ask your advice regarding the fit though. I got fitted at the store, bought the 9D which are great in length and generally right in width. They feel quite tight around the side of of my toes on the outside of the right foot especially. So far I've only been wearing them for a few minutes at a time in the house, have not had much time to break them in. But wondering: should I go back and try to exchange for a wider shoe (like 9E) and live with too much heel slippage? Or should I give it more break in time to figure out, knowing that this is built on one of the more forgiving/wider lasts (511, same as Leeds)?

I just don't want to be "that guy" that breaks in the shoes to the point that they can't be sold as new anymore, then takes them back...

    Thanks for any advice!

Do you think a Dalton boot in cappuccino with a chili welt and light brown edge dressing is possible and would look good? Or do you think the Dalton is better suited to walnut?
