I didn't ask, but very informative and helpful summary. Thanks for sharing.
Today, I wore my shell macneils purchase from the sale recently. I was very surprised by how comfortable and light they were!! I would go as far as say this might just be my most comfortable AEs to date. Had I known, I would have gotten one sooner.
Im interested in purchasing a pair or Ralph Lauren/Allen Edmonds Saunders, but don't know how these run in size.
I'm a 7.5 in Barrie/Truebalance. Can anyone guide me in the right direction please.
tts, should be 8D for you.
My wife loves Stuart Weitzman, kinda pricy though... Thank God, bc without it Alden and AE would be out of the question.
So, I have to ask a question here, hopefully someone can help me out. I have a pair of shoes I am on the fence about returning and still haven't decided (they are 2nds). They are 12E and I am normally a 12D. I have tried them on a few times, and I think I can live with the size, they fit alright with a wool sock, which will be their intended use.
My question is this: The outsole on the right boot is bigger than the outsole on the left boot, but about 1/4 inch, maybe a bit more (but this is not really affecting the fit, they leather uppers seem to be exactly the same). This makes the right boot seem really blobby, especially around the toe area. Is this something that can be remedied ? I will post a picture later if I can get a decent one showing what I am talking about.
Pretty sure those are last year's dates RTP. I'm told Sept 30 is correct. J
Exact same boat for me with the occasional Tory Burch

I just had one made in walnut shell. If I do another MTO, it will likely be the Clifton in burgundy shell.
Simply amazing. I have a pair of tan RL slatons and I've always wondered how they would look in shell...
Thank You shartmann. I have also discovered the hale, so many options so little money.
Didn't somebody here have a cordovan Rutledge made? I'd love to see that.
