Will have to pick up a pair of Delrays during the sale them, good price. Is there only specific colors that apply to the selected 13 models on discount?

I started with 1 pair in June and just hit 7 pairs last week, so you're right, either run or forfeit all control right now.

I picked up the suede Saunders during the sale along with the tan version (my first boots ever) and while I have not worn them yet, I'm very happy with them. Huge discount off the very (unnecessarily) high original price. The suede pair had some black color in a few spots on 1 boot, but I haven't attempted to clean/brush it off just yet. I bought the same size as my 5 last shoes and that worked out well.

FYI your cobbler can take a 44 belt and cut it down from a 44 to whatever size you need.

True. I didn't think of that. DUH! Thanks, Tampa. Wonder what that would cost and if it would be worth it for the bottom line?

Those are very nice. The Strand is definitely my favorite AE design. Enjoy!

Them folks at AE certainly know how to make themselves money! I'm so glad I'm a starving college student, I couldn't get sucked into the shell trap even if I wanted to.

I'm holding out for my brown fifth streets.

Thanks for the PSA. Just jumped on the Bombay, great deal. Wish there was chili in my size.

Are the products sold on this site delivered in factory packaging?

Didn't you do a MTO pair of shell Delrays in the past year?

The heel on my Danite soled Malverns fell off last winter. There were nails protruding that had been driven through the insole into the heel.

Am I the only one who didn't like the Dalton boot? Received mine earlier today, and was quite disappointed. First, I found the 5 last to be too elongated for a boot. Second, the boots are surprisingly light weight; almost unbelievably light for their size.

I was hoping the Dalton would be similar to the Trickers Stows--a nice, substantial semi-dress, semi-casual boot--but they honestly (IMO) pale in comparison.

Daltons are on the 1 Last but the point still stands. I am not the biggest fan of AEs shankless construction for boots. I feel the same as you, I own a pair of Daltons in walnut and they are sitting in my closet completely unworn.

^I do not have the Dalton, but I do not like it personally.

They look great. I have yet to see even one shell Dalton available on the seconds list in my size during any of these sales where you can get shell in the $300's.
