Which of the stores do I call to ask about the walnuts?
Yeah I couldn't find dark brown in 11D from any of the outlets.
Contacted the freeport outlet and it seems like they indeed have a big outlet sale on the 7th. Some great prices on good models, availability varies based on size of course. So very torn right now about whether to pick up a couple of pairs as normal everyday beaters or saving up for the upcoming beautiful neumora #firstworldproblems
What models will be on Sale on the 7th? And for how much?
Just picked up the Soho ($129, saddle brown) and Bayfield ($149, brown). Both were seconds, but neither has any flaws that I can see. Very happy.
By any chance could you tell me what last the Soho is on, and if they had a wide selection of sizes and colors? Looks like a great shoe for a terrific price.
They came back with a laundry list of models, you are probably better served just emailing them with your size to see what they will have in stock.
Where did you find the sohos? Haven't they been discontinued for a while now? Congrats on a great looking shoe!
My Fifth Street Factory seconds! Actually from about two months ago. I returned them, but you get dinged on shipping both ways.
They should've told you about that defect...
Ordered two shoes from AE's site. One was in stock the other is backordered 3-5 weeks. They refuse to send the one pair that is in stock until the backordered one is ready to ship. Ridiculous!
According to my AE outlet sales guy, after the current boot sale is over, the next sale starting on 2/7/12 will be specific to dress shoes.
I forget all the models, but he did mention the Park Avenue seconds will be available at $209. Sounded pretty excited about it too. I guess the PA seconds pretty much never go on sale.
Cancel it and reorder them separately.
I believe it's a 0 last (or 00?). Nice shoe. Didn't realize they were still carrying this at the outlets, I'll have to look into it.
I thrifted these, basically new, burgundy AE Arlington loafers at a local shop on my lunch hour today.
Thanks mcass, by any chance could you tell me how it compares to the 5 last, if you know? I am a 9E in the McTavish and a 9.5 D in the PA (same last, i know, but for some reason the PA's felt more comfortable with a little extra room up front, and I have a narrow heel for such a wide toe area). Also, I checked with the Freeport shop, out of the Soho. Elbastardocalvo, where did you order yours? How are you liking them?
