Yes they do.
Just ordered my first pair of AE -- went with the Rutledge in walnut. So excited about this!
Does anyone notice that some of the Brooks Brother models have more heel rise then their regular Allen Edmonds counterparts? I am assuming it could be due to the smooth insole?
I have a pair of Strands in each brand and while they both fit great on the Brooks Brothers Strands I notice my heel shifts off the insole slightly as I take a step whereas in the Allen Edmonds Strands it does not.
Just curious if anyone else has experienced this and if it will go away in the Brooks Brothers models as they wear in?

Just got my black Ashtons, two pair of shoe trees and AE Conditioner/Cleaner in from the tent sale this morning Now I'm just waiting for my burgundy Scottsdales.
The Ashtons don't have any noticeable flaw and looks to be in perfect condition. The only thing I can think of is that the rear, vertical, center stitch on the heel may be slightly off center. But I might be imagining it so I doubt anyone else would ever be able to tell.
The BB versions have a poron insole inserted rather than the regular leather insole. I haven't had the latter problem.
Picked up a pair of Lasalles in chili and Sandersons (for RL) in dark brown this morning. Here's to hoping they fit!
I am not brave enough to pull off pink pants. Kudos.
If you contact Paul through email you can waive the custom fee of $150 and get them for only $600. Did I just say only?!
Here is a picture of Burgundy shell Leeds and Brown shell Leeds. The black are calf but I plan on rectifying that someday....
I believe I'll have to finally break down and get a pair of Black Hills as they are only $159 during the current sale. My Strands are 8E and fit the best of any AE shoe I own. Would you guys recommend I get the same size in the Black Hills or go to an 8D or 7.5E (considering the rough leather and open lacing)?
Also, ColdIron, I think you mentioned that you darkened yours with Obenhauf's. Do you have a picture of these?
Diggin' the welt on the brown pair. The colors look great.
They turned out even better than I expected, I bet your thrilled with those!! I wore my old cobbler leather Shelton's yesterday because it was raining. Not sure I can ever put them back on after seeing your Shelton's, what a beautiful job.
Yes Ravello is much like walnut with a bit more red in it and your MacNeil's are a very close match IMO.
3 AE walnut shell with Ravello on the far right. I need to get around and sell them someday, they are too close to walnut and I never wear them. But your MacNeil's have even more red in them than my ravello chukka's. You have some fantastic shoes, congrats!
Black Hills are a great shoe Doc, and that is a great price. I went down a half size in length but same width as my Strands for my Black Hills but not everyone does. So on my Black Hills I put leather oil on them to try and take some of the orange out of them but they ended up looking very ugly, it wasn't a good move at all. I saddle soaped them every night for more than a week to get them back to where I started. And have left them alone except for using HDLP to help shed water. I use them as a casual foul weather shoe.
The only picture I can find of them is this one, in the center. The HDLP did darken them a little bit and is what I should have done to start with. Hope that helps and good luck!
AMAZING! These came out incredible. I love the details on your choices.
I too am surprised by how "red" the Walnut is. The sample I have is very different from what you have. I will be very curious to see how my Dalton's come out. Given that I own some Ravello I do hope they are closer to the sample I have, but that is not a reflection of the color only as it relates to my personal collection.
I received word today that my MTO Bayfields are in final inspection and should ship within the next few days!! My Daltons are a bit behind as I changed the width on them so they are delayed. Looking forward to receiving my Bayfields!
