In another thread/topic I mentioned B Nelson Store in NYC for BOTH a good Saphir Shine for $7, plus they sell Saphir Producs.

I am unsure whether or not the AE polishes and waxes last very long on the edge. Otherwise, why would AE produce an Edge Dressing?

AE is having a 15% off sale (with free shipping) today for Edge Dressing (which is also available in the CHILI color) for $4.68.

In regards to the recent saphir talk, there is a shoe store in Clifton, NJ (approx 10 miles outside NYC) called Moda shoes that sells 100 ML bottles of renovateur for $15, which is by far the best deal I've been able to find anywhere. They also have the full line of MDO polishes, not certain on the pricing for those, though. Just a tip for anyone in the area.

If one color of edge dressing is used, can you just use a different color without having to do any type of prep?

Players shoes arrived today. I just tried them on and the left shoe doesn't fit. The right was ok, perhaps a bit big, but not bad. These are 2nds that I ordered from the Riverhead staff- but the shoes were in the Serravalle, Italy store- so I paid the USA price and got them shipped for free rather than pay to have them shipped via USPS to my overseas military address. So, the service was superb and creative, the shoes had zero blemishes, but the sizing was off a bit.
    Gotta send them back.

The Player's shoe is nice, but it is on the 2-last, which is notoriously hard to fit. I have to size up half a size in order not to crush my toes. The resultant fit is OK, if a little loose in the heel.

I have read about the 2 last. Annie (SA from Riverhead NY) and I talked and she suggested I go 1 size wider, so from an 11D on the 1 last to an 11E on the 2 last.
The left shoe had severe gaping around the ankle and major heel slippage. Too bad- they are a beautiful shoe. I overspent my clothes budget anyway, so I guess it's divine intervention (if God gives a shit about my shoe collection).
