I wasn't sure you could get any through TSA! I have had Leona Meat Plant in Troy Pa. (Bradford County) ship me some before, they get it from Sunbury, Pa. How a man can go hunting without a decent breakfast of scrapple is beyond me...

The Malvern is a flyer on the 1 last, it fits much tighter than any other 1 last shoe or boot that I own. I returned mine. Go for it.... you can always return them if they don't fit?

    Townleys are so tempting...

I wear a 10D in the 5 last (Fifth Avenue and McAllister). Would 10D or 10.5D be better on the 1 last? Any idea?

No problem. I check in once a day here when I can; just have not posted a lot lately. It took me about 30 seconds to think about it, because it likely means I'll put off the RL Marlow again for a while (similar). But then when I saw the list of sizes left, I somehow mentally decided I should just call and get it over with! I loved the pictures of these when the gent before got them for $125. I don't know why I even hesitated here. Something about shell really lends itself to bluchers, captoes, and brogueing, especially in this color. And this is a good last for me.

I don't know how man existed before scrapple!

Are you saying the Malvern fits tighter, or the Townley fits tighter? Because my malvern's are a bit tight on me.

The Malvern fits much tighter so you should be fine with a 10D in the Townley. There was only 1 pair left, call and order them before someone else gets them, think about it later [IMG]

I was told by Rick @ AE that the 1 last is wider in the toe box that the 5 last. I hope that helps a little... The 5 lasts fits me like my ol' Copa Mundial Adidas soccer shoes fit me.

I wear a 9.5E in the 5 last and a 10D in the 1, if that helps also.

I'm torn right now! I can't justify getting these shoes!

Having size 14 feet on the 1 last is a blessing and a curse...I never get in on these good deals..but my wallet remains unscathed.

Thanks, gentlemen! I'm unsure what to do... perhaps I'll just fret indecisively until they are all sold!

Hear, hear. Rather than getting wistful about these shoes that won't fit my feet, it's pretty awesome to see everyone get so excited.

I may be the odd ball but there are a few of us that are TTS in both 1 and 5. I think Rick explained the fit very well, especially in my case. Even though I am a D it is a very narrow D if that makes sense, almost a C.
LOL haven't heard that phrase in many years! If eating it for supper then it would be proper manners to wash it down with some Iron City Beer ;-)
If you can't justify it then IME, don't. I like things to feel right when getting a shoe or boot, understand how you feel. There will be other shoes out there at another time. Your wedding is pretty important to you right now. As it should be.

Wow so much love for townley. Here is another pic of the shoes from today. I wear townley with my casual friday/weekend outfits.
