has anyone been to the factory shoe bank? my wife makes me go to the outlets in wisconsin every now and then, and since it's a few more minutes up the road, i was wondering if it's worth the trip?
It's totally worth going to!
I've been to the Brookfield, WI, on one occasion and it's awesome. The service you'll receive there is top notch. You will end up spending a few hundred dollars, but hey you'll probably save that much too. Just be prepared to be in there for at least an hour.
i was hoping someone would say it's a horrible idea.
do they stock factory 2nds only? or are they firsts as well?
They have 1st quality as well - mostly overstocks. The best part about going there is that you can build a relationship with that store. Adam was the guy who helped me and he's been clutch.
The other nice part is to actually have your wife wait on YOU while you're shopping
Walnut Player's Shoe:
Very nice looking. Like the socks too!
First pair of AE in a long time...
Ridgeway Cognac from the Shoe Bank:
I love the Rutledge but these colors are just plain ugly, IMHO. Then again, I'm not a big fan of spectators in general.
Congrats ! Exc first shell choice. I love this shoe. The double leather sole is sharp!
Whhhew! Those are some beautiful shoes. I'm jealous.
Here's some MacNeils 8.5D that I am about 99% sure are actually shell for $125: http://www.ebay.com/itm/EUC-Allen-E...2200273?pt=US_Men_s_Shoes&hash=item3a7fcc5351
Don't need, already have, but can others confirm these are shell?
Judging from the latin seller's name, is it possible that it is member Vox Sartoria selling them?
My assumption is they are NOT shell cordovan shoes. The description speaks twice of calf: "Merlot Custom Calf" and "Lined premium calfskin and grain calfskin leather upper"
Is there a way to still get these besides the custom route or were they only available through the Webgem?
