There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

How formal is your office/workplace that you need two pair of black shoes?

I would recommend a walnut, burgundy, or chili; give your wardrobe a little pop! I personally own 8 pair, 5 of which are AEs.

The LaSalle has markedly courser stitching than the Delray, so it is more casual. Also, the LaSalle has a foam cushioned insole, so it is a notch down on the quality totem pole. The average joe would never see the difference, however. So if you have reasons for buying the LaSalle instead of the Delray, you are still quite safe.

Bummer, I wanted to buy some shoes from the tent sale, but they don't have the Strand, PA, and El Paso in 10 E.

You did have to pay for the shoe trees, right? [IMG] If not, I'd better start buying my shoes from the same place!

Thanks for the fast response guys.

Well I don't wear suits to work, just dress pants and a dress shirt. Winter would be a sweater over a dress shirt, never any ties. Reason I asked about the 2nd black pair is that it goes with everything expect brown pants and figured it would be versatile.

I wear gray, navy, black and some slight variation of navy blue with a little pin stripe in the slacks.

Yeah seeing the walnut strand does look good. What is weird is that my fifth avenue's the right heel is slipping a bit but the left fits perfect. I'll have to get some insoles.

Er, sorry to hijack the discussion. Basically I just call when there's a shoebank sale and see what they have and go from there (the total of 35% off was from the Memorial Day sale iirc). Today starts the tent sale for example so--good day to check in for something you've really wanted but haven't been able to justify buying in firsts.

Generally, take a pair home every once in a while for conditioning / polishing. I've been considering bringing my polish, etc, in to the office and staying late to polish everything.

Think I may be good and only order 1 of the 3 shoes I want.

How do they Neumok Snuff Suede fit compared to the Mcallister? I know it's the same last, but these are unlined.

The tent sale isn't what threw us off, it's the free shoe trees. That's like $50.00 of free merchandise that they just gave you with no advertisement.

Oh I gotcha. It was a surprise to me as well, as it was not advertised or mentioned. The shoe bank rep Shirley tossed in a nice handwritten note too. Just can't beat that.

Thanks for the advice. I decided to just try returning them once more. Hopefully the next pair looks better.

Polo jock, all I can say is wow. Those are the sheltons I saw in my head when I went down that path 6 months ago. Bravo!

Today: macneils in my hotel room.

Was able to pick up the Strand.

Does anyone know if it uses the same last as the Mcallister?
