I agree. Jumping to shell would likely cause a number of people to drop out though. Just a SWAG but ~$350 for calf and ~$600 for shell seems to be about the usual if they waive the custom fees.

Currently I do not plan on getting in on this one, unless we end up with 9 orders and need 10. Like New Shoes1 said awhile back I see the SOHO in black or dark brown as the most functional option by far IMO. But either one in cappuccino shell I would be out there like GOP Shoe Guy picking up those pop cans to pay for them [IMG] We could always ask if enough people are interested.

You heard the negative, now on the plus side these things are very comfortable. Easily the most comfortable pair of dress shoes I own.

    I'd do a Bourbon Soho in 8.5D.

These were intended to be worn in warmer weather, but I couldn't resist. So I figured out a winter weather combo for my new Red/White Neumoks, and am sporting them today at the office. They are a bit loud for a dreary cold winter day, but I like them nonetheless. They look pretty sweet with grey flannel slacks and a white oxford with a red sweater vest. :)

I own three shoes on the 4-234 last - the Hillcrest, Regent Street, and Amok. Hillcrest and Regent Street in 10 D fit great. I had to size down in the Amok to a 9.5 and step up in the width to an E. For some reason, the Amok fits longer and tighter in the forefoot than the other two.

I would obviously be in for a Capuccino captoe, but I'm skeptical we could get it done. Would be worth the inquiry for me to see if they could do a Soho in a 12.5E or a 13D. Bourbon would be my ideal color next after the shell.

Thinking about getting the chili Weybridge:

    and the Brogue Suede Quinton:

    with the 2/$250 sale.

They are both on the 8 last, which fits me perfectly in an 8.5D. I currently do not have a chili or a dark brown suede shoe in my collection.

    Thoughts?

Not a fan of the Weybridge, but the Quinton looks good. If you like the shoes, sounds like a good buy to me. Two options that you do not currently have.
