+1 on the Evanstons. Still one of my favorite pairs to this day.

Are you sure? I know the Clifton was a balmoral years ago, but it has always had a round toe and the picture you posted looks an awful lot like the Evanston.

Incorrect. Evanston is a balmoral (as shown in the photo) and Clifton is a bulcher.

No, there was a balmoral clifton years ago. There were posts with pictures six or so months ago. It was a nice captoe with a well placed toe line that I wish AE would bring back.

Ok. Regardless, the shoe in the photo is the Evanston. Here's the link to the original photo where the owner states that it is the Evanston in walnut.

Just a heads up, the Brooks Brothers Strand and Pak Avenue are on sale for $129 at AE factory stores. That's a hell of a deal.

Any way Canadians can get in on the deal by e-mail or by phone?

The original Clifton was very similar to the Strand, however it was full brogued but no medallion on the toe box. Also, if memory serves me correction, they had 5 eyelets.

First pair of AE's, and I'm already in love with them. Regent Street that were on clearance at the AE store in North Atlanta. Already saving up for some Daltons. Now I see why you guys love them so much.

Since Brooks Brothers doesn't offer many C-width options, I wouldn't expect there to be many seconds (if any). However, if you know your size, you could just email them ([email protected]) and get a list of what's available in your size.
