Fortunately these were so discounted that they don't dig too deep into the Shell budget. The trick now is to receive the parcel when the Mrs. is not home and dispose of evidence quickly. Lucky for me, she thinks all my watches and shoes look the same, she can't tell them apart.

The Chester. This is the EXACT shade I have been looking for since 2015 and I only find them in black. I did go with the black, but it was alligator. This is an amazing shoe. I think AE would sell a TON of these should they ever make another appearance.

I found out recently that there was a shoe called the Fairhaven, which is on the 73 last. Always happy to discover AE models I did not previously know about.

These shoes were pre-owned, but never worn. There are a few scuffs and marks on the shoes, including the soles. The soles are in excellent condition, but you can see a spot on the sole of the left shoe where I tried to erase initials and I made a smudge.

You're right. It's definitely not the 73 (don't know why I thought it was that last).

There are two numbers inside that show the style number and the time code. The code on the left I think is the style code, which reads 7874, which would be the 234. The code on the right reads 1437, which would mean the 97. I'm pretty certain the 1437 is the date code and not the style code.
