I switched into my Pattons before going back to the hospital to visit my wife. I don’t want anyone there thinking I’ve got Landshark money before they send us the bill. (After this hospital stay, I definitely won’t have Landshark money.)

Well I finished my shoe last/coat rack project. It was interesting and now that I have done it once I realize all of the changes I could make to easier and more proportional. I will be happy to provide details should that be desired.

Ordered the football grain courtsides. Big shoutout to the staff at the AE store in the Galleria at Roseville. Dropped by during a road trip and they were super helpful in getting me sized for a courtside. They even had the super rare condition of having an 8E in stock.

Strangely enough my feet don’t currently like the HM. Might be a change in foot size. Might be the “road trip foot swell.” Who knows. If it’s the same in a week or two I’ll just wait until a certain other company starts offering football grain shell and go that route.

Work travel picking back up, so there will be more photos of shoes on planes. Gonna try to figure out a better way to present them, but for now, my top-down approach will do.

Brought an all AE lineup to my trip to SD: Chili Shell Hamiltons, Burgundy Shell Strands, Snuff Suede Sea Island Loafers. No metal shank to slow me down through TSA this trip!

🤤 Shell Hamiltons... Drool. Am I the only one marking the days on the calendar waiting for Shelltember?

Right? I've been keeping my fingers crossed that AE really goes all out for this one! Considering all of the AE100 drops haven't interested me, there are plenty of funds burning a hole in my wallet for this event! Customizable welts (reverse & flat) and colors for welts/edges like in previous Trunk Shows. Not to mention single/double JR soles! Also, hoping they will include the Hamilton as this is my favorite model next to the Strand. @AE_Lauren maybe this feedback can be communicated to AE to take into consideration for September's Shell Trunk Show 🤞🤞🤞

I totally second that motion.

I feel the need, the need for Shell Hamiltons.

This is brilliant. Great work my friend. I am very impressed.

@mreams99 - it is a strange thing, I don't know you, we might despise each other in real life, we are strangers communicating on a forum for what my stepdaughter called clunky, old man shoes. But I find myself worrying about your wife. We all hope for a speedy recovery and happy ending to this scary situation.

Sign me up for a return of the Dundee. Natty and Chilli shell cordovan, double JR sole. Please, and thank you. 👍🏾
Throw in Bourbon AND Walnut Shell Cordovan and this could get downright ludicrous with how many shoes I would be ordering...

That would be a damn fine trunk show. I guess we’ll have to wait and see. Alden has gladly taken all of my money, as of late. It seem AE doesn’t want any of it. Lbvs!
