Dalton today. Slightly bad news today. I was just told that my car, although it runs fine now, is throwing View attachment 1810314 a code that means it will eventually loose power because the oil pressure cannot be controlled. Question:
Wait for the car to have issues or get a new car now?
IMO it's a terrible time to buy a car. Great time to sell one, tho.

I'd limp along as long as possible.

The Higgins Mills are ready for another day of work. These are natty CXL, so will these look like new with a little brushing?

Nothing but the delightful smell of new leather shoes coming out of my pair.

I assume you're joking, but it's actually bothersome that most Americans have no clue what the War of 1812 is.

Ignorance of history is common place everywhere now.

Yeah, the prices on cars RN are awful. I'd wait it out.

This was my initial thought, but I also think that new car prices won’t go down anytime soon given the prognosis of my vehicle. It could be a month or a year. They just don’t seem to know.

Then you're probably better off buying new. I don't know what leases look like right now.

Sorry to hear. What are the rest of the details re: your car? Year, make, model, mileage…

Well, you can start looking now and jump on whatever you find to be a 'good deal'.

I feel incredibly lucky to have purchased a new car last October back when you could get a 0% interest loan.

AE wanted my opinion/survey so I provided it. Focus was entirely on loafers/drivers style footwear with one interesting boat shoe (general survey stuff too so I plugged Balmoral boots and different leathers).

I'm not the guy for positive feedback on that, no interest in drivers or things like combo driver/bit loafer :eek2:

No worse than this though:

AE I love you but $490, really?

...and $600?

I would love to see the take rate on all of the Armando Cabral collab, can't imagine it was very high.

I was interested in the top one (no intention to buy due to cost and lack of width options) simply because OLIVE!!!! Send more olive leather. Nubuck olive would be business, so would olive CXL. I could live with olive shell.

My survey was mostly sneakers (awful)—they look like the crap sold at Famous Footwear. I wonder what parent company owns them /s
