Someone help me understand. Why would the good people BB or AE would elect to put a Dainite sole on suede. Suede would not seem like a great choice in the rain. I'm inclined to buy these and have a natural welt and double oak soles replace the monstrosity.

BB did a lot of suede on Dainite at one time. My chocolate suede BB MacNeil is on Dainite.

According to the seller, they are new without box. The insole appears to show no wear.

@Shoenut - I have a pair of BB Mac Neils in an 8.5D which are tight because of the poron, so I am hoping the 9D solves that problem.

Suede does great in the rain with a suede waterproofer. I frequently wear suede in the rain with no problem after water proofing.
