The Ming 27.01 may be the most beautiful thing I own. For a thin minimalist watch, it has remarkable depth and layering at only 6.9 mm. It amazes me how well-thought out the design is—each detail is so distinctive and yet they all work together so coherently. Ming's signature flared lugs are shortened to balance the flatter look. The white strap thread is the same width as the engraved chapter ring, hour markers and skeleton hands. The skeleton shape recurs on the band clasp. And being a hand wound, the full mechanism is visible through the casebook. I was lucky to snag this one as the drop was sold within seconds, They seem to have gotten their ordering act together far better these days.

Non AE- living around the ATL area now. Wandered into the Cobbler Union store today and the guys there were very nice. They seemed very knowledgeable.

Atlanta.
A few years back, I drove down to Atlanta after work on a Friday afternoon. On Saturday morning, I drove south another hour or so to pick up Captain Jack. Captain Jack is our snow Bengal cat who is blind in one eye. He didn’t make a peep for the next nine hours in my car. But now that he’s settled in with us I can guarantee that he’s the loudest cat you’ve ever heard. By far.

Are you on a tour there with gate 1 travel?

No. I'm not part of a tour package. I arrange my own accommodations, flights, and sightseeing adventures.

@Shoenut: I was told this was buffalo mozzarella. Yet, I cannot distinguish the taste from regular moo-moo mozzarella and buffalo mozzarella. How would you describe buffalo mozzarella's taste? There is a mozzarella factory in Tirana. Only 20 minute walk from my accommodations. But I do like the fish meal from the Italian restaurant in Tirana.

Mr. Strand, today. One more thing, I no longer see these vegetable and fruit only sellers in Canada. The 8.5 lbs watermelon cost me 260 LEK.

The taste of Buffalo mozzarella is just slightly different. It is a little more mellow. The biggest difference is the texture. Buffalo mozzarella has a creamy texture in the center while our moo moo mozzarella is a harder more consistent texture. There is a farm in the United States that has imported Italian Buffalo but they cannot sell or label it as Búfala mozzarella. Seems the Buffalo people are pretty strict.

Your cat looks like David Bowie.
