Sorry, OTC?
They make more than two colors. You know that, right?
Agree. It’s not even close. Some kind of cold voodoo.I don't know, I find them better than commandos personally.
Hermes Red polish just came in. Hoping to add more life to these Oxblood Dalton’s. Picture below with one coat applied, without brushing

The old OTC ones were rocking. I wish they offered more than black, navy, and charcoal when I bought them. I would have bought many more.

I have the Alpine Chukka, and I am fascinated by the soles. They are the best sole I’ve ever seen on snow, ice, or just plain water.Agree. It’s not even close. Some kind of cold voodoo.
So, is it ceramic pieces that are mixed in the sole? I imagine as the rubber gets colder and shrinks a bit, the gritty embedded part of the sole will be slightly more exposed for better grip. But wouldn’t the grit just recede with the sole material?I have the Alpine Chukka, and I am fascinated by the soles. They are the best sole I’ve ever seen on snow, ice, or just plain water.

I bought mine circa 2016...I am certain they've changed manufacturers since then. The new OTCs look nice, but still limited to basic colors. When you say old ones, do you mean the ones currently on clearance? I recently pulled the trigger on a few pairs after seeing them in the latest sale and remembering your past comments. Have yet to wear them myself.
