On another note how do you all package your shoes for sale? I was thinking of getting some sort of heavy duty paper and just wrapping the box.

I have about 5 pairs I want to sell and free up some storage space.
I use shipping boxes from when I purchase a pair shoes and usually keep a couple on hand for this reason, or the USPS boxes. On the inside, I usually bubble wrap the shoes and place in plastic bag (small trash bag). Some of my older purchases, I no longer have the original boxes…but I’ve since have been keeping them.

As funny as that is, it feels like hubris for me to call them that.

Without context? Perhaps, especially if you are the idiot that started calling them that. In this case, of course, you are not that idiot.

In the context of someone whose username is a well-disguised homophone for one of the most famous novels in literature, meh - "donkey boots" seems like a natural extension to me.

Thanks fellas I'll order some of the USPS boxes. It will be good to sell a few instead of always buying more.
They will mail you a bundle for free.

Going to have to expand my storage. I should have bought 6 foot shelves instead of 4.

I have another small shoe rack but ill
Need to see where I can put more storage. There are a few that are purely seasonal so I can change some out.

It is about time that I pick up a regular Landon. Any ideas on which makeup? There are only like 11 choices.

Note to self. Focus on cleaning your shoes, or reading this thread, but not both at the the same time. Otherwise you will find yourself Googling a well-disguised "homophobe" in one of the most famous novels of literature. Nothing about Don Quixote or boots.

Has AE jumped the shark with regards to the Force 10 with lug sole?

AE has an awful lot of ugly ass shoes lately, to be honest.

I love Allen Edmonds. I own 30 pairs. But there hasn't been a nice new model of AE in ages at this point, and it seems they've completedly abandoned any pretense of being a dress shoe company at this point.

I think if you are just counting shoes, some of the boots seem to be decent. Landon, Freeport, Chapman combat are at least a 7 out of 10. Just wish the Freeport came with the commando sole. Still might add a Freeport in CXL. I have a lot of suede and let’s not talk about footwear that is green.

Just to be clear, I was talking about the Freeport boots. This Freeport slip on deserves 10 years in the Federal penitentiary just for showing up.

Yeah, I was specifically refering to shoes in my post. I know I often use the term shoes to mean boots and shoes, but in this case: I just meant shoes.

I agree the Landon is a nice boot, but I am not a huge fan of the Chapman or Freeport. The Freeport is better than the Silverlake by far, though, and I think the Freeport looks infinitely better with a commando sole, as we saw in some of the trunk shows, but that stupid leather patch with Allen Edmonds branding makes me want to scream bloody murder.

I also don't like that the Chapman is an austerity brogue with the same awful branding. It is like if the Dalton had an ugly younger sister.
