Some pics of the olive Lombard. Tried to get some in full sun, outside in shade, and inside. You’ll also see them next to an olive (?) Shannon Drive and a couple of Hamiltons for comparison of color. (Sizing is likely different on each model, so don’t make any conclusions on length from the group shot.)

Are they just getting rid of all the outlets?? :confused2:
That's what it seems like to me they closed the one near me in either 2019 or 2020. The only store "near" me now is in Downtown Baltimore and I'm likely only going there if Ashley is in town.

I guess technically I could go to any of the 5 in DC or NOVA but Baltimore would be closest.

It seems that they are closing them one-by-one. It’s been a trend over the last few years. I suspect that they’ll all be gone within a year or two. It sucks, because the outlets are the only stores that ever had shoes in my size in stock.

If outlets are closing, I think they need to reconsider the decision of only stocking D-width shoes in the main stores. What’s the point of getting fitted only to be told that they don’t have anything in your size to try on?

Since I will never own a Rush Street or Elgin, this is the best I can do. Thinking these pink laces look too long, so will probably swap them for AE beige laces. 2019 TS Strands in bourbon.

Never say never. Strand King might have a tragic accident and will you his pairs! I make no comment on how or who may have caused said tragedy...

Sir, I see you Brannock at 11.5EE heel to ball. Looking at your rectangle feet with not overly long toes, I'm fairly certain the 11EEE in the 65 last will be a good fit for you! Let me just go get that 13D...

The other answer is “you can buy them now and we’ll ship them to you.” I’m hesitant to buy a new pair of jeans without trying them on. Why would I want to do that with a pair of shoes that’s even more expensive?
The store does not offer to bring them into the store for you to try. You have to be willing to take that risk yourself. You have to commit to buying them.
I think that AE loses sales by not having product available in the stores.

Yeah, I get the impression that they are only going to keep their original shoe bank in PW. But your point about the stores not stocking sizes is important. I've noticed that some stores do not have a lot of extra space for extended sizes. But I hope they reconsider given that a customer could just purchase his correct size online -- it will continue to hurt the sales staff.

Looking for a little bit of a good juju boost for a presentation later today. So, I put on my favorite good juju boots. Beat-up OG brown CXL Higgins Mills FTW!. Words cannot describe how much I love these wrinkly old bastards. Am I allowed to say "bastards" on this forum? I guess we'll see when I post this. I never know what triggers some of the Polly Prissypants out there. There's usually some wonk who tells me to not use a specific word because it messes up SEO and metadata and whatnot, even when it's the right word for the situation at hand.
