Happy Weekend!

Today was a beautiful day here in the Rockies, it has been hitting 100 regularly but today was low 80s. We have a thing here in Utah where we shoot gallon milk jugs at various distances. Today I hit one at a mile, after which I received a sticker! My next milestone is 2000 yards. As one of my friends says "if you are willing to throw enough money at a problem...."

I did wear Olive Suede HMs, which were perfect.

My bet is Ruger precision rifle.

A bit rainy, yet I feel summer. Since lasik, my eyesight went from 20/500 to 20/15. I can see clearly that I love these shoes.

For this shot, I used a Ruger Precision Rifle in 338 Lapua Mag. Optic is from Tract Optics, 4.5-30X56 MRAD. Rules state you get 10 shots to hit the gallon jug, then you have to wait a week for another official attempt. I hit it on my 3rd shot.

I wish we had places to shoot that far in Florida. I have a 6.5 Creedmoor with a Zero Compromise I would like to try an stretch out.
