First wear of the Walnut Daltons, these seem to fit better than my Sulllivans. I did opt for 9.5 like my Sullivans as the 511 isn't the widest of lasts. Running late so a quick shot.


New chinos so they haven't shrunk yet. I think I'm down to one pair of dress trousers that still fit so chinos are gonna be the name of the game until I can get the weight off.

AE Walnut calfskin McAllister short wing balmorals today...

Like many have posted over the decade(s), I am on a journey that took me from calfskin, CXL, suede, etc. to shell cordovan AND back again. Even though my collection is heavy in shell cordovan, it's hard not to appreciate well-made calfskin footwear.

I've been wondering the same for about 4-6 months now it seems like, but just haven't asked. Figured as with most people, they come and go depending on what's going on in their lives, I believe he was about to retire last we seen him, maybe he has better things to do now with his life than surf an appreciation thread
