PSA: Style numbers have finally been created for the GMTO models, so I will be able to ring orders tomorrow. I'll call those on my list at some point then.

Edit: as an aside, we had about 36 people take the poll from this thread alone and I have only had about 22 people total reach out, which is just over the minimum needed to successfully launch this make. I still have nine navy spots left. Let me know if you'd like to support the event and reserve a space.

Is it 22 total people who reached out or 22 from styleforum? It'd be interesting to see what the interest/commitment numbers are comparing Styleforum to Facebook's AEE group.

Total. Honestly, much lower than I was expecting. I think we will need to tweak how we gauge interest. Anonymous polls and just asking folks to take it once if they are truly interested wasn't the best approach in retrospect, lol. We live and learn.

Answer: No idea, many reports about Harris’s shoes and Dr. Biden’s shoes, but none for Biden himself. My "expert" analysis of blown up pixelated photos revealed that the shoes didn't quite look like AEs.

This. Unless she's looking at only the Landon votes, which mine wasn't, there's definitely some that would have been on the HM or nothin' side. I initially said I would be.
There's a lot of talk, but when it's actually time to lay out money you never will see the same 100% engagement.

I would think maybe a multistep question might be good next go around.

How likely to purchase if other option than vote is offered? Not at all, maybe, Very interested.
Or, just break them out in a 0-10 scale like the AE polls. HM 0-10, Landon 0-10. That might at least show how dead set people are on one or the other.

That’s a fair point.
I can see how others might have felt strongly one way or the other. I wanted the HM, mostly because I knew how that would fit and I’m not a huge fan of that “decorative flourish” (vestigial boot strap?) at the back of the Landon.

EDIT: I am going to give the Landon a chance. I have to make a decision on the fit and sizing.

I missed part of this conversation, but I was in the HM or die camp. Just not a fan of the AE cap or the Landon in general.

Honestly, I’d love a Cordovan Landon. One day I imagine I’ll own a pair. I’m just not a shark guy.
