Go with the ES, headstock is nicer than Epiphone :)
But isn’t that like picking Mary Ann over Ginger because you don’t like Ginger’s mole? 😎

Besides, for the new MiUSA version, I think they are mimicking one of the old style Epi head stocks. Though note, even Paul’s ‘62 and John & George’s ‘65/‘66’s had slightly different head stocks. John’s tapered a little more, ie a tad more hourglass shaped.

I drove down to test drive the 335 but the Casino had been unboxed that morning is really something.

The evil sales person heard me play some chords of No Reply and said, “hey, if that’s what you like, follow me, let me plug you into this VOX AC-30C2. Let’s wait for the tubes to warm up.”

AE related: this guy shares some traits of Ashley. “I know you have that in calf but I just found your size in natural shell.”

Happy Monday!

My relationship with AE started while I was working at a bank. My next (and current) employer is a west coast tech company. Culture and dress code could not have been more different, like shifting without a clutch.

It was about this same time I switched employers that AE released their "rough collection", which remains one of my all time favorites. These helped ease my transition, and to my eyes are a much better implementation of a casual version of traditional shoes than the modern (not just AE) sneaker things.

OG McTavish, and I love the distressed leather here...

The Epi through the Vox should have a nice English Invasion tone. Have a little 10 watt Vox tube amp as a practice amp, run a 1962 Double Cut TV yellow Les Paul into it. Have had that guitar since late 1960's. Either way you go Gibson or Epi, will be a good choice. And I didn't like Ginger's mole. Oh, and to keep it on footwear, wife has me cleaning out/reorganizing the pantry, I'm wearing Normandy's.

Those loafers are nice. Are they black shell?
Jet black as the devil's soul! Black shell looks like a black jelly bean; so rich and deep!

Wearing shoes that are seldom seen around these parts, the ever-popular Voyager's cousin, the Jack Nicklaus Desert Mountain Golf Shoes, today.

Many X's mark the spots on the gold rubber soles that say "Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf by Allen-Edmonds" inside a partial outline of a bear. There is also a Jack Nicklaus figure (the same one that's on the orthotic insoles) on the heels.

Here's a picture of one of the orthotic insoles. They also say "Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf by Allen-Edmonds" on them.

When I was in Arizona for eight months in 2018 one of my plans was to wear these shoes, go to the Desert Mountain Golf Club (which was a few miles up Cave Creek Road from where I was staying), and take a picture wearing these shoes there.

Unfortunately, had Pneumonia for over six weeks when I was in Arizona, so didn't get to do a number of things I wanted to do.

Agree. I really liked the rough collection, and wish I bought more. The unique leathers were awesome.
