Received the Large Round Glazed Replacement Laces that I purchased from AE's website expecting them to be the usual 48" Boot Laces, but these were significantly thicker. I'm guessing they discontinued their Boot Laces in favor of these?

Those look like good laces. Thanks for the heads up. Are they pretty waxy?

Awesome!
Why is natural shell so rare?

Those are walnut shell, which is rare and was only made for a short time for AE.

Natural shell is not that rare, although it's not used all that often since it requires relatively clear shells (ie free of marks, etc) and it can be difficult to get shells that match closely in color. It's an "issue" with light colored shell in general but relatively more so with natural since it's undyed.

Brought out the Burgundy suede Macs today. We have a little bit of cool-ish weather remaining before Summer and I am trying to get the most use I can out of my flannels.

Standing in line at Rocko's Ice Cream Tacos which, despite being about a 7 minute drive from my apartment, was completely unknown to me before today. Loaded up a 'taco' with strawberry tart ice cream and sealed with a white chocolate dip. After sampling the taco, I concurred with their signage below. The taco did not last long.

Whoa! You see that with suede sometimes, but have never seen calf bulge like that. What kind of exercises are you doing with those feet? lol

Looks like a Cornwallis, which are on the narrow side with a chisel toe. May not be be a great last for you, and whether or not that is true, the shoes certainly appear too narrow and possibly also too long.
