Annual suede cleaning and waterproofing day. A few pair needed some spot cleaning, they all needed brushing, and all but three pairs were waterproofed (ran out of spray - more is on the way).

I had a can of nano spray and what was left of an AE waterproofing can. The AE can scared the crap out of me because it turned the white Nomads yellow. Fortunately, they dried white. Phew!

Rancourt Rocklands
Thank you’d to you and @savvysartorial . I’ve had the Rocklands in kudu in my cart since the date of Crowdfunding II but two hours after I got the email they were sold out at the discounted price. Should not have thought about it.

Speaking of things you can’t get anymore, walnut pebbled Macneils.

Hate when that happens. You just want to think about it financially and boom they're gone. Maybe it's the universe saying you shouldn't have done it!

Nice looking shoes! They remind of the the Florsheim pebbled of days of yore.

Happy Friday forum pals. I'm looking forward to the sharks that are soon to drop. My weekend will be long waiting for the arrival of a grail pair next week.

Truffle.

it feels weird to all of a sudden not be wearing boots. But I’m not complaining.

Is that a Filson original briefcase in the background?

You do not know what the original poster intended and they are not Brooks Brothers shoes. They are Allen Edmonds shoes sold by Brooks Brothers but I am sure you already knew that.

Last time I try to do something nice in this thread.
People post good deals all the time and I always appreciate it (even though my size is never included). Having all the extra eyes looking for deals is a prime benefit of the AEAT.

Not sure why your post generated an adverse reaction but you shouldn't let it dissuade you from posting sales you think will be of interest to the community

I missed the boat on grained Macneils and had to sell one of my kidneys for a pair of Alden longwing make-ups to address the matter...

For future reference a great alternative to a grained Macneil is the Florsheim 93602 or 92604. Both are available used or NOS these days. New ones are around half the price of Alden and some people (me) consider them to be better quality in some ways.

Edit: seems @savvysartorial and I were on the same page page. :)

+1 on the vintage Florsheim recommendation. Excellent shoes.

When is the Anniversary Sale? April?
Do they typically include shell in that sale?

It's Trunk Show event time in King of Prussia, our second Host Store!

° John and Tim are excited to invite you into the store today through Sunday to see the physical samples and get your creative gears turning!

° Not able to make it in person? No sweat. Just give them a call and place your order via phone! KOP is open from 11-7 today and Saturday, and from 12-5 on Sunday.

° If you order through one of our "host stores" during the event, you will be placed into a drawing for a $50 gift card (one entry per sneaker show purchase), and if you visit in person you'll get another entry! Drawing will be done after the show wraps up.

Looking forward to having you visit the team in the biggest mall in the southeast and creating something fantastic!

As an aside:

The Courtside is the most popular model right now, closely followed by the Strand Sneaker.

Take a guess on what the most popular Park Sneaker is?
...

If you guessed that Camo and Black are tied...you win ;)

Don't be afraid to order Camo if you like it. It's selling.
