I've had tracking info (shipping label created) for a shipment (an arcade cabinet; gift for son) since last Friday. It shows that it is to deliver today, but still waiting to be picked up in City of Industry, CA!

Hold the phones! I've got an update on my 97625s.

Sigh, it's a 3hr drive from Springfield to KC... At this rate they'll be here by spring break time (if I'm lucky). Good thing I have a couple other shoes to wear in the meantime.

Yah I have been having the same issues with both UPS and USPS. I have a package that was moving along through CA that hasn't moved since the 3rd. They are claiming it will be here on Friday but I am thinking that's not going to happen considering it has to get to the east coast. I've got another one that is in transit and hasn't registered an update in a few days. And I have a 3rd package that was picked up and has yet to move anywhere since the 2nd and it seems to be untrackable now. All the carriers seem to be struggling mightily right now.
I had a pair of the other "A" company shoes delayed for a week with UPS, they were in my town one day, then disappeared for 4 days, to reappear in my town. Finally were delivered. If you think it's bad now, wait until the major carriers get involved in distribution of the COVID vaccine.......

Is San Juan a UPS hub?

They have hubs in dallas and orlando so I'm thinking the trip to PR is rather odd but I am sure they know what they are doing... Maybe just trying to help prop up oil prices? That's all I can come up with off hand... (didn't say it made sense)

As good a reason as any.

As posted in the Alden thread the other day...

It's holiday season. I purchased something from Brooks Brothers to ship to a family member in the Boston area. Brooks Brothers main online/shipping warehouse is only a few miles from the "Windsor Locks, CT" pick up point which is also less than 150 miles from Brookline, MA which is the destination. Even if you say the item had to go to the FedEx hub in NJ (at the airport), it should not have then gone to the FedEx hub in TN (at the airport), and then to the FedEx hub in East Boston (at the airport). This was a mistake and incorrectly routed.

The package travelled 2546 miles although it was originally only 150 miles from its destination.
