PelleLIne is legit, I have bought Alden from them as recently as earlier this year. Fairly quick (couple of days) shipping, kept me informed the whole time.It appears to be a New Jersey based company that sells a lot of Alden. I've never bought from them, but they appear to be legit.
I read the yelp reviews before my first order from them, have had no problems with them. I am not affiliated with them at all, just had a couple of easy transactions.Maybe call tomorrow? I'm sure they could check for you. $100 is a steal for those.
Edit: Ok, I should have done this sooner, but READ the Yelp reviews before buying. Some are a bit concerning.
4 thumbs up... 2 for the saddles and 2 for the grenadine.
I love my burg shell Bradleys. I also think the Bradley would have been great in suede. I have what is essentially a snuff suede Bonafe Bradley (“Bradafe?”) and it is a versatile shoe.
Except when they mean Hopkinson :
Brogue suede is a bit darker than Alden snuff, but near as makes no difference to current AE snuff. @Roycru has Strands (I no longer have my pair)AE did release the Bradley in suede in the 2000 catalog. Style 2651. I'm not sure of the color as they called it "Brogue suede."
Wearing brogue suede Strands today. These were the first A-E shoes with Dainite soles Was walking for hours today on both grass and on pavement, so shoes with Dainite soles were a good choice.

Lots of layers of polish! Or might go at it with very fine grit wet sanding and then refinish (if you really want to get involved)BTW: Any advice on getting rid of the scratch on the right toe-cap of my Hopkinsons above? Harry is a very enthusiastic boy who tends to step on my feet a lot...
Thanks - I think I'll try the lots of layers of polish approach first (the scratch isn't very deep) - and if worse comes to worst, I'll ask for some more detailed advice on the wet sanding/refinishing approach.Lots of layers of polish!
