@joman8390 Take this for what it's worth, but I own the Cambridge and would say that it feels about the same as my Park Aves and Strands in shell in terms of volume. If anything, the Cambridge initially fit a little tighter than some of my other 65 shoes, but the toe room was definitely not roomier. Another person on here who also owns the Cambridge said he experienced similar to me. It might be size variation in production.

Uh oh, I can't see the Strand King turning these down. @BFT9000

Those are an interesting addition this year.
How about the Claus?

Navy suede Strandmok today. I like the welt. Didn’t even notice that when I bought it.

I like the looks of both, however I already have the jinglebellmok and just can't see myself having 2 Christmas Holiday themed shoes/boots. I will say this the jinglebells have butttery soft leather and I did swap the candy cane laces out for solid colored ones and did manage to wear them at least once a month throughout the year. I need to add them to my weekly rotation for the next few weeks and swap the candy canes laces back in. The only comment I got throughout the year was those are some really red shoes. the person didn't even realize they were "Christmas shoes"

Settle down now... They get the job done, but Alden and Crockett & Jones are killing the wingtip boot game.
Yeah, Daltons look off too me. They look oddly thick in the shaft when viewed in profile. The empty vamp space is too large. The wings drop down too early and at an odd angle. C&J and Alden both do a wing boot better. I just can’t get behind the Dalton; it’s not something until you have both in hand that you really can express what’s off. There’sa lot of styles I prefer in AE though...no one beats the Strand proportions.

I. Am. Furious. I have complained the 1776 being on dainite and lined didn’t match summer any more than the unlined on single leather JBM didn’t match winter. Said the properties should switch. Not only did someone listen, but they put it on the superior Hamilton pattern (wings on Cronmoks terminate odd like those girly Daltons).
Furious!

and no, unfortunately, I’m not swapping out my Santamoks again this year for Claus boots.
