The sun is out for the first time all week. That’s a good reason to wear the Daltons, right?

These were very, very dark when I first got them.

Understand! It's not for everyone...I've been a big suede man the past year. I just think it matches better to my textured wools and linens.

I went slim first time, but rise was waaaaay too low.
Brother I hear ya! I have a few in slim, from now on only straight. Had to go up a size due to the pandemic and a change in duties at my job. Not as active, and picking up weight.

With all the talk of the Bradley over the past day or two, I thought it might be a good time to post this auction I stumbled across. If you're looking for a lightly worn brown shell pair in 10D, you've got about 3 days to place a bid.

@ae_ashley Question on the factory seconds sale: if I call an outlet directly, can they apply the 30% discount or do I have to order through the website? I like to have someone lay eyes on the shoes before shipping so I'm hoping I can work directly with one of the outlets. Thanks!

The boots that started it all for me; OG CXL Higgies (my first AE purchase, coming up on 3 years old now):

I'm also wearing my Higgins in CXL today with some selvedge denim. They too were the boots that started me down the AE road about a year and a half ago. Curious if these are the gateway into AE shoes/boots for most on here? With the exception of @BFT9000 since Higgins do not contain the correct medallion!

Not mine, but Leylands like these were my first pair, followed by black Norwich. Then an oxblood PA...boots were my 6th, 7th, and 8th. (Walnut Dalton, Blue Cronmok, Loden Dundee 2.0). My first HMs were #23 and #25.
(I'm only a 12 year AE fan)
