It takes full sunlight to bring out the rich charcoal/mahogany contrast, the indoor photos don't do them justice.

Does AE sell mothballs for these?

Indeed they are. Same with every factory flat lace from AE and Alden (guarded goods do well though).
These are the standard AE 48” black boot laces. They come off as charcoal, which makes them the best laces for these! I think I’ve converted Karina to these for her pair as well. I use fabmaina laces when AE is low on color selection (like right now... apparently a supplier change is occurring)
