MacNeil 2.0 Scotch-grain brown. They popped up on the AE website a few weeks ago for $170 and arrived this morning. Apparently they were discontinued a few years back. These should really be F2s or were possibly returns because of the incredibly crooked edge on the left front side. But at this price I won’t complain.

The 2.0 is much more comfortable that the traditional MacNeil. The break-in time is just a few wears I suspect. I’m becoming the King of Nordstrom Rack AE’s these might be my favourites.

The colour is better suited for fall but I just couldn’t resist wearing them for the first time. Ignore the khakis I gained a few pounds during Covid-19 and all my dress trousers are a little tight in the waist.

Or earlier. Hey, why not. ?

It’s my favorite time of the year, y’all…. trunk show time. You guys ready?!

When: The Fall Cordovan Trunk Show will be held from September 24th-September 28th, and you can place an order with ANY store.

What's different this year?: You have experienced this event for the past two years exclusively in-store but given our current climate we will offer this event online as well. We’ll offer options to order shoes without the ability to change the edge and welt online, but if you wish to further customize your order, you'll need to shop through STORES. We won’t be holding mixer events or having any in store physical samples due to COVID, BUT for the first time we’ll have high quality professional photos of the samples for you to see online, and then customize with personally WITH YOUR STORE.

On to the good stuff! This year, we’ll be offering the following styles:
thumbnail_September 2020 Trunk Show.png

Strand, Leeds, Park Ave, Mcallister $695
Landon, Higgins Mill, Hamilton- $725
Park Sneaker- $525
Dylan- $625

Notably, we have the new Landon boot and Park Sneaker in the mix, and this is the only recraftable shell sneaker on the market now to my knowledge!

Colors and other modifications: We'll be offering these styles in Black, Burgundy, Chili, Green, Navy, Bourbon and *drumroll* Dark Marbled Cognac!
Same sole and edge options for our standard shoes and boots as the Suede Show, and you will indeed get to choose between a flat and reverse welt again. If you need a refresher on any of that, let me know. We'll have a few sneaker sole options to choose from as well; Black, White, Blue, and Chestnut (browner side of brick red). Because the Dylan is a handsewn, it's going to have three sole options of its own; Dark Brown, Natural, and Medium Brown (not pictured).

Awesome! Can you give some details on the new Landon boot, like the last? Also any pictures of marbled dark cognac?

Also you mentioned two shell sneakers last week. Was one nixed?

Umm. Which one is better Bartlett or Strand?
I believe Barlett is part of independence line so it supposed to be better. But in my personal experience I chose McAllister over Jefferson
