No new pictures in 4 hours?? :(

I took this photo late last evening in the sun. Still debating if I should try to exchange this pair. They do fit well and I'm just afraid the next pair might not.

I'm away from my apartment so I don't have my Mesa/Boogie Mark IV with me. I've owned a Dual Rectifier back in 2001 and didn't like it, and later owned a Dual Caliber 3 head (and later sold). None of those compared to the beautiful Mark IV. The amp just kills it in almost any style. I was so pleased that I sold my old Marshall head. I have one guitar with active pickups and two with passive and have come to realize I prefer passive (although EMG are still great pickups). I put those Fender Jeff Beck pickups in my Blade and it sounds fantastic now. I even learned how to solder guitar pickups with the help of Mrs. Profila.

@smfdoc -- very interesting -- didn't know you also played guitar! Then again, we only got talk for about 2 hours before you took off for the east. :(

To keep this AE-related, I think I'm going to try to exchange my tan Strandmoks for another pair. There is a weird bump inside the insole by the big toe that I'm not sure if it will go away.
Now I understand.

Well, the bump doesn't seem to be a big issue. I can't really feel it when I walk in them. However, the stitching has me wondering if I should exchange. But keep in mind that this shoe is supposed to be a little distressed. It looks like they attached the tongue to the upper using this stitch. I've had exchange regrets in the past when I later realized the first pair was better than the 3rd, so I'm a bit hesitant.

Yeah, they did admittedly miss hitting the other stitch when the tongue stitch, but I wouldn't make that the reason to return if everything else is good!

Never return, never regret, to 100 pairs and beyond!
