Time to start the Sullivan Street lobbying effort.

Just skip ahead to about 5:45

What about regular shell for the upper and hatch grain shell for the shaft. Bonus points for a slightly different shade. Or suade.

Looks like the unthinkable happened. My local Allen Edmonds finally reopened, and my TS20.1 orders became retrievable.

Snuff Leeds with olive Dainite, and Burgundy MacNeil with black Dainite. Terribly unique, what with them being two of the sample makeups during the show, but they really stood out. They both look like they'll be versatile and well suited for Spring, Summer, and Fall. Inspected them and tried them on in the store. There's some funky stitching on the MacNeil quarters and sole edges that need color touch ups, but these otherwise look wonderful.

Of course there were trees waiting for them at home, and after a quick brushing to clean them up it was photo op time. Enjoy!

Yep, those are bananas. And so are the shoes! Being EEE, they're quite tanky looking as well.


So one trunk show order in, and today we hear about another coming up in September. Time to start saving up!

These Broadstreets weren't a standard issue were they? I went back through the catalogs and saw the brown and white came in and out but never this combo. What in the numbers tells me special order or other? Thanks

Ok guys it is going to happen. The burnished olive weave Strand is gonna happen. I told my wife the other day that my order was canceled and she said, “poor baby, don’t worry, I will pray to get those shoes”. My thought was, don’t waste your prayers on shoes because that woman can pray a camel through the eye of a needle, there must be something more important than a pair of shoes. Well, last night my SA called me and she found a pair of those shoes in my size that AE only makes to order. To top it off they are at the current sale price. Now the real question, did she pray those shoes into existence or did she know something that I didn’t. I will probably never know.

Women are strange creatures (no offense @ae_ashley). Your wife is probably cunning enough to have your favorite SA on speed dial and they were just playing a trick on you by telling you they weren’t available. The question is, what is the other half going to get now that you will get your shoes? Be sure to buy her something nice for “praying” for you to get those shoes.

When I landed on this planet, I quickly learned that NOTHING happens in this world without all of the beautiful and intelligent women that are in it. NOTHING.
