Accurate assessment of every Grant Stone model besides the Bucks.Even though I don't have the GS captoe, I somehow "know" that the Park weighs as much as a paperback book while the GS probably weighs as much as a 43" tube tv.

Maybe this has already been posted, but what appear to be rebranded woodlore shoe trees are $10 at Nordstrom.
I totally agree with the idea that they put the sale together 3 months ago and haven’t adjusted at all.Is it really shocking to you? To me it's more like shockingly naïve. It's crystal clear they put this offering together a long time ago without taking any of the current situation into account. We'll see what happens - if things turn around quickly and we pull out of this mess economically they should be fine but who knows.
The sale is (not unexpectedly) underwhelming - as it has been before. The discounts are quite small, they went for quantity of styles over percentage. With how things are going, my guess is you'll have the following outcomes -
The die-hard AE guys will go for the shell. But even then, without an SA, with long build times, when stuff comes in messed up and having to deal with the CaC for exchanges...my guess is even some of them will get turned off.
The "middle of the road" AE guys will probably go for newer stuff like the Strandmoks or Neumoks but they may be disappointed with either the DR-build for the Neumok or the lightweight "danite". The other styles (the good stuff) like the Strand, St. John, HMs - the discounts aren't too good.
The "Cole Haan" guys looking to move up will just pass. Without being able to try stuff or walk into the stores they won't be willing to pay the price. Or if they do, they'll order a million sizes, return all but one and get AE to eat the shipping, then return the last one because they won't like the quality they get.
Just in, my AE mask. The stitch density is quite lacking and the material has a weird crease at the chin. Finally the elastic is too long and it falls off my face. But I got to say that the finish is pretty good for an introductory luxury mask.

I tried but auto correct finally worked correctly.I think that you meant to say

Am I right in assuming that Shoebank has not been updated for weeks because of the virus? I haven't seen anything added to there in a month.
If all the stores are closed, how do you place an order and how does it get shipped? From the Shoebank. Do you see where I am going?I think I'm in agreement with you that shoebank must have gotten the virus. As of today all the prices were updated, at least I didn't catch any mistakes and the prices lined up with the home page. Stuff like that never happens when things are normal.

My sister got bit by a moose once.
They were retaining the salaried staff for a few weeks when the stores closed. By now, they have furloughed them, too.Im not sure they do. I've sent some emails to a few stores - normally very quick only the reply. Nothing heard.
Nice hijack - and boots!Haven't been checking in here as often lately as I'm camped out at home for a spell (like many others) and have been branching out to try a few other mfrs of late. Wanted to take advantage of the moose mention though as I just took delivery of this pair of moose boots. Thought I'd share a few pics:

These Trumans are called Bronze Moose (YES, actual moose leather from CF Stead). Soles are Itshide Commando.
