It’s time to walk the dog. My go-to in inclement weather has been the Hearst (the Patton before the Patton) and they are developing quite a nice patina.

Laces courtesy of @audog — you’re a good man sir. It’s not your fault I almost cut them too short lol.

So. My complaint with trunk shows. I wish AE would slow down on these pairs. Every trunk show pair I get seems to be lasted looser than even the mainline stuff (shell stuff for sure). Initial fitting shows I've definitely got full closure out of the box. We'll see if I have to use tongue pads for the first time on a 65 last shoe or not as they break in...

PSA for those seeking a belt to go with chili shell: the AE Douglas Street in chili is a pretty decent match. It has a lot more red than the usual AE belts which run more dark chili. When placed against chili shell it is a hair darker, but definitely in the same family, especially at 4' above shoes. Also, it is on sale for $69.

Any recommendations for burgundy sneakers that come in a wide width. I prefer a gum sole, but white may do. I am not sure if some say D but maybe already run wider so looking for input from those that may have some insight. I am a 13D brannock, but all of my shoes are 13E to 13 3E depending on last due to instep and foot volume.

I'm aware of the following but not sure on their sizing:
- Archibald London SF-01 Bordeaux w/ White Sole or MTO Bordeaux with Gum Sole
- Rancourt Heritage Court Classic Low in Color 8 CXL w/ Gum Sole

Both of these don't have options for wide widths, but not sure how the standard widths fit. Archibald London does state 2E is standard width but again not sure what that means given they're from the UK.

Help?
