Maybe it's the heel counters and quarters on the dalton that bug me. I guess you are right that the wings are similar to the C&J but for some reason I love the C&Js and dislike the Dalton.

It's interesting how each maker does something that works for everyone.
No one beats AE's Strand pattern.

Now comes a few weeks of trunk show goodies coming in - truly one of my favorite parts of this community.

I am probably fortunate that these didn’t come in on Saturday. They are fantastic and I might have had to spring for a pair in Loden and Navy too ???

My first of two pairs ordered for the trunk show did show up. Haven’t looked over them too much yet (and I normally don’t) but i think they look pretty dang good.

Yeah I was at their store yesterday. They are relocating to Columbia (tn) for this purpose. Great guys I will miss them being near the office
