Been enjoying my Higgins Mill Brown Seconds immensely in 2020. Technically got them in December but didn't get a chance to weae them more than a few minutes until 2020. The issues that made them Seconds are extremely hard to spot unless you've been told what to look for and got me into these boots for a great price. If only AE made them in Color #8 Cordovan....

Whelp...me wanting to slow down on some purchases didn’t last long. Three incoming pairs over the last month. Two arrived right before the first and another is in transit. Some firsts Carbon Strands came in when they were under $200, a pair is in transit now (will post when arrive next week), and then these beauties...ladyboy boots in shell #8 with double JRs! I got them new for stupid low price. They’re seconds, but damn I can’t tell what made them seconds and neither could the SA. We think they were trunk show leftovers since they have brown and not black edging. Now, need to decide what to do with my lightly worn dark chili calf versions since I really don’t need both.

Edit: Four pairs...forgot about the CXL Higgins.

I just received my Patton 2nd's today.

There is a noticeable indent on the right boot's toe area. Dealbreaker or does it just add a bit more charm?

Otherwise a very beautiful boot IMO.

That would drive me nuts, seeing that indent, couldn't keep them. How do they fit? can you feel the indent? Does it go away when a tree, or foot, is inserted?

I'd probably be a lot more open to looking at something in a Suede Trunk Show if I'd ever actually gotten the Chili Shell 5th Streets I ordered in the 2019.2 Trunk Show 4 months ago...

I am waiting on a remake of my chili strands and my SA advised that the factory would not be able to get to them until receiving a restock of the chili shell at the end of this month. Could be a few months yet, but I am willing to wait for a great shoe.
