I notice you mentioned suede, and nothing about other leathers like CXL or football grain. I guess that’s our first hint.

Well men...

I have just dropped $295 plus tax on the Bartlett; it's the most I have ever spent on a pair of shoes.

Is there any way of telling by the box--or the shoes--if they are pre-Caleres production? Both guys I talked to at the AE store of purchase said, "Oh yeah--it's the old box with the hammer, the 1922, (some other stuff I don't remember), so they are almost definitely pre-Caleres."

What say you gentlemen?

1-loafers; but not likely apparently, so
2-perhaps a Mac in dark green suede
3-not sure. I'm liking the suede denim Strandmok, so may not need a TS haul to scratch my suede itch.

Just snagged a pair of lightly-used black Hopkinsons from eBay for $100, can't wait to get them! I almost never need black captoes, so I'm glad I got a great pair for so cheap
