Macs are best.
No, get a Windows machine.
Mac, Mac, ?
No, Windows!!
Linux, Linux, Linux.
:fence::box::nest:
I expect to see this discussed for the next 8 pages.
I would assume AE would be coming out with their own soon.

I've been a Mac guy since 2008. I find them safer and easier to do things. They are also powerful enough for my needs (audio needs). I only recommend the MB Pro models with enough RAM.
They look nice that’s for sure but functionally they keep making them worse all for chasing an aesthetic. Keyboards have been a disaster (putting it nicely) and making any kind of change to the components has become near impossible. At least on the laptops. The new 16” keyboards seem like they might have fixed it but time will tell. I think the iMac and iMac Pro are the best value proposition from them. Excellent quality screen with a reasonably powerful machine behind it. The new Mac Pro is priced in crazy land and it’s minimum config comes with a graphics card that barely powers their new display (which is actually an excellent display and value for something that is supposed to be a reference monitor not general consumer). Obviously if you play games you don’t use a Mac but my gaming days are behind me now. Still I prefer to build my own PCs.

To be on topic a little bit, I build my PCs on the same table I clean and shine my AEs on.

Insta-buy! (except, since we're pipe dreaming, I might like the translucent brown edges with the dark green suede).
I think the translucent brown is AE's version of "antique". Oh don't forget, put it all together with brown stitching...

I love how all office carpeting is the same--just slightly diferent colors. Ours is slate and yours brown...otherwise, same.
I have the same in dark taupe. :p It always looks dirty.
I think this is one of the reasons why I don't wear my dark taupe suede Strands much. They look like my dirty office carpet.

I think AE chili edge dressing is closer to Alden Antique, both have those reddish notes. At least, I've been using the AE chili edge dressing on my Alden antique edges with some success.

AE translucent brown is just that ... like a buff, only brownish tinted. My green shell Norwich pair from TS19v1 have the trans brown edges. Ditto, the bourbon shell Higgies.

Speaking of trans brown edges, since AE is using that edge a lot, currently, why don't they sell a Trans brown edge dressing in the travel size bottles? @ae_ashley ? I've been using AE's natural on my AE trans brown edged shoes. The brown edge dressing AE sells in the travel bottles is not trans brown. Its opaque, mud puddle brown. Not a fan.

There is a lot of talk about the “rule” that you should coordinate your belt with your shoes.
What about the “rule” that says you should coordinate your watch strap with your belt?

Here’s a belt that goes with everything, and my watch strap that coordinates with it.
