Looks a lot like @armedferret out hunting, in dress, anyway. But where's the ferret?

Nah I'm much more akin to a traditional hacking jacket and pantaloons over riding boots these days.

For fans of bipedal horses feeding popsicles to giant bronze beavers in shoe threads (and boy is that a specific subset lemme tell ya) i have good news for you.

Also we found a bar just down from the hotel. It has a cat.

I do enjoy a good Texas trip.

I’ve been excitedly waiting to see what might be coming in the suede/CXL/??? trunk show.
And then I got an email from Rancourt about a couple of boots available in a variety of suede and CXL at a special pre-sale price.
I guess I’ll have to wait and see what AE is offering in different styles and materials before making any decisions. (Fingers crossed for a Stuart or Bleecker Street chukka.)

Tthat Byrun boot in “Kudu full-grain suede from CF Stead” is nice, especially in camel. Only available for two weeks at that price. Better not sleep on it. But AE needs to go ahead and make their announcement.

An amusing thing about the product description is “Made on Rancourt & Co. proprietary 115 last.”

Their 115 last is the AE 511 last.:-D

I see what you mean. That Byron boot in natty cxl or the camel suede looks choice. Also looks a lot like a Patton might look, in those materials.

Seconding the call for some STS2020 details!

And, can anybody weasel me on the Rancourt 115 last? Is it the same as the 511, or am I getting tangled up in my lasts?

Edit and note to self: Read, then post questions.
@Count de Monet answered my question. 115=511
