My understanding is they're not selling shaved until 6pm when the "event" happens; chili and others all day.
@ae_ashley ?
You have it exactly right. Stores can ring orders all day, but shaved waits until six pm, when the mixer starts and the snacks come out, lol.
Right, but unless they just draw names out of a hat, it would be whoever was there first right? So ideally you’d want to be in the store as soon as it opened to make sure you were the first in line to guarantee your pair if it were truly first come.
It would be really crappy if there wasn’t.and is there a one per customer limit? I'd be wary of the guy who shows up when the store opens and wants to buy several pair of the shaved shell.
Pozole. Best. Soup. Ever.Pozole is better than menudo every time. Albondigas for a close second.
Agree, they need something with texture, like suede. Not 100% if green is the color though. You might try a blue suede or for a more "rugged" look something like Alden reverse chamois in the right boot. But whatever, the Gustin's ROCK!I think suede is a better match for this denim. (Still sticking with green though.)

Which Park Ave's are those? Should I pull out my 1989 PA's just for grins?@ProfilaBinding looks like your Park Aves are getting some love on the FB thread, lol.
Do you have a spreadsheet that automatically calculates the wear-per-month ratio? ?So, I'd set my metric of high wear at a ratio of 1.00 or higher wears per months owned. It's starting to look like that's a bit too judgmental at this point. I'm leaving out anything with only 1 or 2 months because that really only accounts for a first wear.
My top 5 (only ones that pass the above criteria):
AE Walnut Strand Weave: 1.50 (this may fall into the too new, but I do have 6 wears on it since April)
AE Snuff MD Chukka: 1.11
AE Burg Shell Randolph: 1.07
AE Sand MD Chukka: 1.04
Alden Snuff LHS: 1.00
After 6 months of boot wear this coming Oct-Mar, I'll revisit and see where we sit.
I so admire those here who have spreadsheets to track wear/rotation and all sorts of other metrics. I sometimes wish I were that organized, but I'm not. I just wear what I like, and like what I wear on a daily basis. And as many have noticed, sometimes change 2/3/4 times per day (because I can which is one of the advantages of being retired).Do you have a spreadsheet that automatically calculates the wear-per-month ratio? ?
Damn skippy.Do you have a spreadsheet that automatically calculates the wear-per-month ratio? ?
It's not a party without chexmix. You have it exactly right. Stores can ring orders all day, but shaved waits until six pm, when the mixer starts and the snacks come out, lol.

Speaking of spreadsheets, when are we going to start the rally of SF TS19.2 planned purchases?Do you have a spreadsheet that automatically calculates the wear-per-month ratio? ?
