It says that the gift card codes are only valid online, but surely they work instore right? I’ve only ever used them for online orders. Getting an extra 15% off of a trunk show purchase seems like a good deal to me.

I’ve used them several times just give the card # to your SA.
Will they be taken for Trunk Show? Last time they did. Ae_ashley should confirm.

I did! These aren't coupons, these are just gift cards. Perfectly legal Allen Edmonds tender, lol. I used them several times last year and I can't imagine this year will be any different.

Gentlemen, I’m a regular over at the Filson bag thread but have never ventured over here. I’m a casual AE fan, as I wear Red a Wing Boots about 60% of the time, but love AE for dress shoes. Anyways I’m struggling a bit with fit on a new pair of strands.

I am a 9.5 d on a brannock, the 9.5d strands fit well in terms of width, but the heel is snug. Not super tight, but pretty snug. I’m concerned that as the shoe breaks in it may become too tight. What’s your expert opinion on this? I know this is probably a newby question so apologize if this has been asked 1000x. Note that I have been fitted and they ‘recommended’ the 9.5d, but I have had better luck with advice from passionate folks than sales people most of the time.

Calf should loosen up not tighten. Shell less so.
